WARNING: The Harsh Truth About Vinyl Dance Floors
Discover Why You Are Getting RIPPED Off & How I Got A Studio Floor At 40% Off The Regular Price!
Posted on April 10th, 2015 by James Hepburn
Hi there,

Are you looking to start your own Dance Studio or upgrade your current dance facilities?

Are you frustrated by the extremely costly dance floor options that are currently available?

Sick and tired of being charged an arm and a leg when all you really want is a great dance experience for your students at an AFFORDABLE price?

If so... then I hope you read every word of this letter because the secret contained inside could change your dance studio and business forever.

What I am about to reveal to you will SHATTER every belief you currently hold about the cost of having your own Dance Studio.
Jacqueline Wilson - Cairns Scottish & Irish Dance Academy, QLD
Now…

Is that a big claim?

Absolutely.

But here’s the thing:

Everything I am about to reveal is 100% fact.

Because what follows below is the harsh, never-before-revealed truth.

The truth of why YOU are being RIPPED OFF when it comes to purchasing a dance floor – AND – exactly how you can get the same quality result for up to 40% off!

I’m going to share my story with you, so you can also save stacks of CASH when fitting your studio with a dance floor.

Firstly though, who am I and why should you listen to me?
My name is James Hepburn, and yes – I am a dancer.

So believe me I understand the difference between dancing on an old, run down floor in a community hall and a freshly laid, premium vinyl dance floor.

It’s like chalk and cheese.

There’s no doubt about it…

But anyway…

I started dancing at the age of 10, as my mother Jackie ran her own dance school.

For the next 7 years, I danced Jazz, Ballet & Tap – and I loved it!

In this time, my mother moved studio locations a few times and consistently had trouble with the floor, EVERY time…

You know what I mean right?

The floor would either be:

 1. Too slippery,
 2. Too hard to move and turn; or
 3. Too stubborn and sticky and impossible to pivot on.

Worst of all though, the bad floors would wear our shoes out in the shortest possible time!!

As you can imagine, the situation is a complete nightmare.

I’m sure you can relate…

Because this situation totally SUCKS.

And the unfortunate fact is, that your students and your business are the ones who really suffer from it.
Josephine Haley - Bathurst Academy of Dance, NSW
For a while, my mother just dealt with it.

Accepted the reality that either she would have to pay a LOT more for a premises with a better floor, and just continue to suffer what she had…

OR

She could install her own premium vinyl Tarkett floor in her studio.

Can you imagine that?

The beautiful feeling of dancing on a freshly laid floor in YOUR OWN studio?

Opening the door to your dance school and breathing in that brand new, fresh studio smell.

A floor that YOU own, that can never be taken from you if you ever have to leave.

Well, my mother is an ambitious woman, and that’s exactly what she decided to do.

So, she made inquiries with the major suppliers of dance floors.

And it is at this point that the story got interesting.

Because here’s the thing:

If you’re in this industry, whether its been 12 months or 12 years, then you will know what I am talking about.

Now I’m not going to name names, or call anyone out, but look.

This flooring is EXPENSIVE.

And when I say EXPENSIVE – I mean ridiculous.

Outrageously expensive.

Unaffordable for the average studio owner.

Totally out of question for any parent who wants to build a home studio for their child with a proper dance floor.

If you own a dance school, or have looked at doing a fit out, you would know the companies I am talking about.

The “big players”

The “800 pound gorillas” of the industry, if you will…

Now I’m not just talking about this flooring being expensive because it’s “great quality – and great for dancing”.

I mean this flooring is “rip-your-eye-balls-out, drain-your-bank-account, plus-an-arm-and-a-leg” EXPENSIVE.

Not kidding.

Don’t believe me?

Do a Google search, find one of these companies, mortgage your home, wait for the quote to arrive, and THEN I’ll say I told you so!

Anyway.

Let’s just back track for a second…

After I finished dancing and went to university, I started my first manufacturing business.

During this time, I dealt with a wide range of products and industries including – apparel, merchandise, clothing – and even commercial building materials.

The thing I loved the most about this business was simply being able to help people.

Help people SAVE money, by offering quality items for less than they would normally pay.

You might be wondering why I’m telling you this…

So let me explain:

If we fast forward, by now it was mid 2014 – and my mother had hit breaking point.

She just had to have a premium floor.

She was sick of the shoddy floor in her studio.

Tired of her students wearing out their shoes in a short amount of time.

And she was frustrated by the complaints of students and their parents about the quality of her facilities.

She desperately wanted to upgrade her floor so she could provide a better opportunity for her students.

And – a better chance for her business to thrive.

At this point, she finally called me.

And all she asked me was a 9 word question.

9 simple words that totally changed everything.

In one phone call and 9 words, a revolution began.

She rang me and said:

“James, can you help me build a dance floor?”

And that was it…

That is what started this journey.

Now, please understand something:

I am a busy person.

Before I committed any time to this – I wanted to ensure it was viable.

I needed to know that manufacturing and importing my own product made sense financially.

Because here’s the thing:

The big players in the dance floor game make a great product.

There’s no doubting that.

But what they don’t do is make it affordable.

And there is NO doubting that!

So I went to China, and I looked into it.

And what I discovered SHOCKED me.

I would nearly go as far as to say I was DISGUSTED.

When I realised what was being charged by these suppliers for the floors they sold and what it cost them to produce it, I immediately went to work to develop my own.

Why?

Well of course I wanted to help my mum.

But spending most of my life as a dancer, I knew there was literally THOUSANDS of other struggling studio owners who could benefit from an affordable, high quality dance floor.

From this point on, I studied everything there was to know about designing and building a vinyl dance floor.

I read every book, every piece of information I could find.

I became obsessed.

I spoke to experts in the fields of manufacturing, materials, engineering, dancing…

I even inspected the “best dance floors” on the market.

And then, I went to work.

After this long and arduous process, of designing, constructing and manufacturing prototypes…

Yep, you name it, I guarantee I did it.

The works…

I am finally able to reveal to you, this stunning breakthrough.

Presenting…

The Ivy League ‘Insignia’ Dance Floor

I mean, I had to give it a funky name right?

The Ivy League ‘Insignia’ Dance Floor is a 4 layer, 4mm thick premium vinyl dance floor that performs superbly AND is a fraction of the cost.

The specifications make it exactly the same as the dance floors you are normally charged THOUSANDS for…

This floor consists of 4 layers, including:

UV Print Layer: - Giving the floor its colour and low sheen finish to leave the surface looking great.

Wear Layer: - 1.2mm thick, the wear layer ensures a long and enduring floor life, protecting the other layers in the floor for lasting performance.

Fibreglass Reinforcement Layer: – Ensures the floor stays rigid and secure during use.

Foam Backing Layer: - Gives support to dancers and decreases risk of injury.

Now, as I said at the start…

This is no hype, no large, unsubstantiated claim…

What IS revolutionary however is the price.

Why is it SO MUCH CHEAPER you might ask?

Simple.

I don’t charge excessively for it.

That is literally the only difference.

The large companies are ripping off none the wiser studio owners by convincing them their flooring is some sort of rare, god like product.

But…

IT ISN’T…

And that’s the perception I want to change.

I want this flooring to be affordable.

And that’s EXACTLY what it is.

In my initial order of 120 square metres, I saved my mother 40% off what she would have paid.

As I said, it is outrageous.

Highway Robbery in fact!

And it has to stop.

Which is why I am proud to announce the arrival of my company:
